‘Please ignore Yomi Fabiyi, I’m in good health’ – Baba Suwe

About 24 hours ago, Nollywood actor and producer, Yomi Fabiyi cried out on social media for his colleagues to come to the aid of veteran comic actor, Babatunde Omidina, popularly known as Baba Suwe, who according to him is currently going through tough health situations as a result of the ‘torture done on him by NDLEA 5 years ago.’


Well, Baba Suwe has denied Yomi Fabiyi’s claims.

Shortly after Yomi’s Instagram post, Thenetng tried to reach Baba Suwe on phone, but he was in a meeting and requested we call back later.

They did just that, and he told us he was in another meeting and politely pleaded we call back at 7p.m.


Once again, we did. And he told us he was just wrapping up his last meeting and again, requested we call back at 9p.m.

When they finally got a hold of him at about 9:33p.m. last night, he was eating, but he told us, ‘my health is perfectly fine, I don’t want anybody to worry about me, a lot of people have been calling me about the issue all day.’

He added that, ‘what Yomi put out is a very old story. I don’t want to talk about the issue any more please ignore it.’
